About the thinker

Hi. I’m Christopher Corder - and I Can’t Let Things Go

I’ve spent most of my career helping businesses make sense of their financial and operational chaos - as an advisor, strategist, auditor, and the occasional translator between people and systems. But this site isn’t about that.

This is the place I come to think.

Not just about business, but about all the ideas, patterns, systems, and questions that I can’t leave alone. The ones that show up at odd times and drag me into rabbit holes - about AI, human behavior, design, ethics, decision-making, science fiction, and occasionally why nothing works the way it should.

I’m not trying to be an expert in everything.

I’m just someone who can’t leave a question alone until I’ve turned it inside out.

Sometimes that leads to useful frameworks. Sometimes it leads to more questions. But it always leads somewhere interesting. And instead of keeping all that to myself, I’ve decided to build a place where I can share it - in case anyone else finds the thinking just as useful, or at least worth joining in on.

Why this exists

Because I got tired of letting ideas die in unfinished notebooks or stay trapped in late-night voice memos, scribbles, and half-finished thoughts.

Because I believe there’s value in showing your thinking, not just delivering polished conclusions.

And because sometimes the act of exploring a question is more important than having an answer.

If you're someone who thinks deeply, questions things before accepting them, and doesn’t mind following a few winding roads along the way - you’re in the right place.

What you’ll find here

  • Essays and explorations on how things work - and how they don’t
  • Mental frameworks for better decision-making
  • Quiet skepticism toward popular narratives
  • Occasional references to sci-fi, power grids, AI hallucinations, and why humans are still the most efficient system around

And yes… a dad joke now and then. But only when completely unjustified.
